Somewhere between the atmospheric soundscapes of New Age, the hypnotic grooves of Chill, and the harmonic textures of Jazz; flows the music of Stephan Earl. His melodic focus is reminiscent of the Classical composers with a unique and modern edge, while his rhythms and grooves paint with a distinctive pallet that is both enchanting and thought provoking.
Stephan’s debut album “Origins” is the culmination of years of passion and love for music. Inspired by music from across the globe and throughout time, the music is truly a work that defines the artist in this moment in time.
While completing the finishing touches on “Origins”, Stephan began writing his thoughts and experiences on creating music, his inspirations and random thoughts during the project. This journal of ideas can be found on his weblog.

Since the release of "Origins" in November 2009, airplay of the music is steadily increasing on various internet, satellite and traditional radio stations. I've begun tracking listeners and fans of my music on one station in particular -- Jango.com. Below is a Google map of where fans have purchased or "liked" my music while getting airplay on Jango.
